About Shelby Hunzinger

Shelby Hunzinger ERYT 500 YACEP is a Jupiter, Florida native with a passion for fitness, yoga and all forms of movement. She brings a customized approach to the yoga practice for the individual in front of her making it accessible yet challenging. From beginner to advanced she enjoys working with all. She has studied both locally in Vinyasa yoga and Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India with Sharath Jois (asana/posture) and Lakshmish Bhat (philosophy). Shelby is no stranger to the importance of yoga and meditation when it comes to endurance activities and the benefits yoga poses bring to finding balance in our bodies. She completed the Palm Beach Marathon in 2014, as well as many half marathons over the years. In the summer of 2023 completed the 80 mile Paddle from Bimini, Bahamas to Lake Worth, Florida on a team of 4 for the Crossing for a Cure. The Ocean is her happy place; in addition to yoga and fitness, she enjoys fishing, free diving and surfing, anything that involves Mother Ocean. A mother of two girls and 3 dogs Shelby’s mission with Jupiter Yoga is to share the same benefits she has received from yoga and make the yoga community fun place (and not so serious) while incorporating mindful movement and healthy alignment.

“You’re always a student and never a master. You have to keep moving forward.”
